The embattled Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Salongo Lukwago has warned President Yoweri Museveni against taking Uganda as his own estate claiming he will not take it along to his grave at death.

Lukwago was this morning speaking to the media after casting his vote in Rubaga. He warned that Museveni should respect the rule of law, and all laws that govern this country.

The man who was thrown out of his spacious city hall office in late 2013 blames all his misfortunes on the man in the hat, who has on several occasions boasted of uprooting him from the city system.

Lukwago is vying for the Lord Mayoral seat with nrm’S Daniel Kazibwe, alias Ragga Dee, and DP’S Issa Kikungwe in an election that was marred by low voter turnout today.

People in different areas across country say they no longer trust the system, after what they term as irregularities in last week’s presidential and parliamentary elections.

Lukwago’s agents in Kyabando were forced to go door to door mobilizing people to go and vote “Omuloodi” after he woke to reality, that people were not interested in today’s polls.

At the time of filing this story, vote counting was ongoing.
