The National Social security fund, NSSF Deputy Managing Director Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa has dragged the fund to court for sending her on forced leave.
Last week, the fund’s managing director Richard Byarugaba sent Ssali on a forced leave but would not reveal on what grounds he made the decision.
According to court documents seen by this website, Ssali says she was forced to vacate her office and hand it over immediately.
She now wants Court to issue a permanent injunction restraining NSSF and its lawyers from implementing, or otherwise effecting the directives of the respondent (NSSF) contained in the letter dated 9th March 2016, that sent her packing.
