CEC, the highest party organ does not allow the press during its meetings, and the country will have to wait until Thursday to know the result.

“The central executive committee of the ruling NRM has met under the chairmanship of H.E Yoweri Museveni and agreed on the way forward on the issue speaker and Deputy speaker of Parliament. The recommendations will be presented to parliamentary caucus on Thursday.”
