The ruling National resistance movement, NRM party caucus is today sitting at state house Entebbe to discuss a series of important issues related to the recently formulated cabinet.
The agenda of the caucus has not been confirmed, but a source within indicates that the president, who is also the party Chairman, Yoweri Museveni will use the opportunity to seek approval and support of the newly created ministries.
The source intimates to us that NRM MPs plan on requesting the president to add on the number of ministers from 81 to 100.
The president recently announced a ministry to deal with matters of veterans headed by one of the oldest politicians Bright Rwamirama.
In the past, veterans have complained about being left out when it comes to government planning, their money has been swindled, while others have never received their retirement funds. Maj. Rwamirama is expected to take care of all veterans’ problems and make sure they are all satisfied.
