Police has deployed in Kampala and around high court premises while roads have been blocked as opposition leader Dr. Kiiza Besigye appears at High Court to fulfill conditions the court set for his bail today.
This is the second time the FDC former presidential candidate is appearing for the same. The conditions were set by High Court judge Justice Wilson Masalu Musene when he granted Besigye a 100m shillings non cash Bail on July 12th 2016.
Justice Musene instructed Besigye to report to Mary Khainza the registrar of High court Criminal division, once every two weeks.
However, on his first appearance, the FDC iron man did not find the registrar in office but registered in the reporting book and was instructed to return today Tuesday August 9th 2016.
Besigye faces treason charges for attempting to takeover a legitimately elected government of President Yoweri Museveni when he swore himself in as the president of Uganda in Kampala, a day to President Museveni’s inauguration ceremony.
