The Electoral Commission has postponed the nomination of candidates for the election of Lord Mayor, Kampala Capital City Authority, pending the availing of Regulations governing the electoral exercise by Frank Tumwebaze, Minister for Kampala.
In todays, 16th November 2015, consultative meeting by Frank Tumwebaze with the Electoral Commission, the recommencement of the electoral process for Lord Mayor was announced.

Succeeding the meeting, The Chairperson of the EC, Dr. Badru M. Kiggundu has declared new dates for the nomination process;
The nomination of candidates for Lord Mayor will be conducted from 18th – 20th November 2015, at the Office of the Returning Officer, Kampala, Minister’s Village, Plot 9 Muwafu Road, Ntinda, Kampala, starting at 9:00am until 5:00pm
