Police is heavily deployed in and around Masindi district ahead of the forum for democratic change presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye's campaigns today.
Notably, a big number of officers have been stationed at Masindi hospital to frustrate any attempts by the opposition iron man to visit the facility.
Recently, the Go foward leader Amama Mbabazi was also blocked from visiting the hospital, as police claims the politicians have no business there.
Meanwhile, Mbabazi's campaign coordinator in Masindi, also an independent Masindi Municipality parliamentary candidate Rodgers Kanti was last evening arrested for confronting the police over what he calls an unnecessary deployment.
Besigye will be addressing several rallies in the district on Friday.
