A few weeks ago, we received reports that Carol was headed for India for further treatment unlike earlier information that she would fly to US for specialized treatment!
Now information reaching us from Mulago Hospital indicates that Carol Atuhirwe, a cancer patient who has been in news for months now has finally been flown to India for treatment.
Carol has been receiving care at the Mulago cancer institute and just last month; over 300m shilling was declared as having been collected in a charity drive dubbed SAVE CAROL to take her to India for specialized before the trip was suddenly called off.
Our sources inside Mulago hospital have reliably told us healthy facility that take treat Carol’s rare cancer case was finally found and secured in India and as we say this Carol departed from Entebbe International airport yesterday.
