Muntu Admits Kiiza Besigye Is Not The ‘President Of Uganda’ As He Claims

Forum for democratic change, FDC party president Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu has admitted that Kiiza Besigye is not the president of Uganda as he has always claimed.

While appearing on NBS TV’s morning program, Muntu was tasked by the host Simon Kaggwa Njala to let the public know if he thinks Besigye is the president.

Muntu: We [FDC] won but we didn't take power. We were well prepared but it's time for us to return to the drawing board.

Host's Final Question: If you won, is Dr Besigye the president?

Muntu: Giggles…I will not go into that discussion.
