Former Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo is supposed to undergo lung operation in the States. He got sick during the time Pope Visited to Uganda in November 2015. The man of God cannot eat food. He is surviving on only drinks. He is currently in London where he is waiting for an operation.
Meanwhile, almost 300m is needed but the family members and relatives can’t raise it. Archbishop Stanley Ntagali has called upon Ugandans to contribute money towards the operations of the former Archbishop of Church of Uganda.
He said “We call upon Ugandans to contribute any money to this cause and save the life of Nkoyoyo”. He is currently in a lot of pain in the throat and abdomen. The pain can’t let him eat.
The drive has already started and the latest we have learnt is that Kinkiizi diocese has only managed to contribute 1m shillings to this cause. An account number has been set aside where to put the funds. 903005662663 is the account in Stanbic Bank under the names of COU Archbishop’s Emergency Fund at Forest Mall.
