At the press launch of the annual Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards at Serena Hotel, Jack Pemba stole the show after announcing he will be injecting 100M into the event owned by Brian Ahumuza a.k.a Abryanz.
The self-style tycoon, who had started to slip from the charts of influential people on entertainment scene after months of hiatus, came back in style by displaying money. It helped him reclaim his status as Kampala tycoon. The message that relayed in news columns is that Pemba is still around, and he still has the money. The story that was not told is the conditions that came along with the sponsorship.
Howwe has learnt that Pemba and his favourite lover, Sheebah Kassami, are planning on launching a fashion label, which they intend to unveil at the awards. Although, the label is going to be a direct competitor of the Abryanz brand, Abryanz had no option but to agree to display Kassami’s fashion brand since he needed money. And secondly, Kassami’s brand must be given constant mentions during the show.
Last year, Abryanz fell out with the woman who was his main sponsor for the event.
