Many Ugandans have been wondering why the Nigerian hip hop recording artist and actor, Ice Prince failed to perform at recently concluded Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFA) at Serena Hotel.
Impeccable sources confirm that he was not fully paid. When he landed into the country, he demanded his full payment before stepping on stage.
Frustrated Brian Ahumuza a.k.a Abryanz, the proprietor of ASFA and his friend, Kim Swagga tried to call different people to come to their rescue; among them was Team No Sleep (TNS) boss, Jeff Kiwa.
“Kiwa refused to help them. After knowing what they wanted, he refused to pick phone calls," says an insider.
Adding that,” South African singing duo, Mafikizolo also wanted a balance of around $400. It was paid but they failed to clear Ice Prince."
It should be noted that after the Awards, it was reported that Abryanz and tycoon Jack Pemba who had injected over 100m in the show, had fallen out.
However, the two came out, rubbished the rumour and claimed it is the work of saboteurs.
Pemba claims he appreciates what Abryanz did for his wife's fashion brand, SKP. And he has promised to pump even more money in the fashion label come next year.
