Socialite Jack Pemba has been chocking on debts.
And not long ago, we revealed on this column that he had sold off some of his property to clear some debts. He was reported to be running between Uganda and Dubai, sometimes to hide.
Latest on our desk is that he has received a bailout from a clique of his friends in Dubai. It is said, they are mostly friends he associates with in Gold related deals. The unnamed friends are said to have paid some of his debts and gave him money to bounce back into the business.
Like the showman he is, Pemba has acquired a new ride, a Texus 2018 model worth 620 Million. He has customized the number plates with, “Sir Pemba”
This is a clear signal to his naysayers who have been laughing at his situation.
