About a week ago, music manager Chagga Geoffrey was arrested and detained over unpaid debts .He was released on condition that he would pay back the money as early as Friday this week.
Chagga has now resorted to singing in order to raise money that will save him from going back to jail.
Our snoops have learnt that he marked his return by putting up a massive performance at Roast and Rhyme show at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo on Sunday.
Furthermore, a close source has told Howwe that, "Chagga started struggling financially after the death of singer Mowzey Radio. Weasel is not bringing in any money. Few months ago, he was left in tears after the show he organized at Freedom City along Entebbe road flopped. This left him in huge debts but he is determined to make a comeback. He has already hit studio, and his first song could feature singer Jose Chameleone as negotiations are still ongoing".
It is remembered that before Chagga started managing artistes, he was one of Uganda's top selling musicians having released hit songs like, "Nsasira", "Wakayima" among others
Well, lets keep fingers crossed as this could be the return of Chagga.
