He has been in the music industry for more than 25 years, having started off his career at a very young age at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe.
Myco Chris became a house hold name in the music industry back in the days of Sabrina’s pub with the likes of Juliana Kanyomozi, Irene Namubiru, Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, Kuklee, Chizzo, Chagga, and Michael Ross.
His breakthrough was when he released a song, 'Zino Enaku' ft the late Radio Sekibogo, Weasel and Kuklee. Since then, he has been bringing us colourful music of which include songs like 'Kabitte wange', 'Silikusula', 'It’s gonna be alright', 'Overcomer', 'Let us Spread Some love' and many more.
As we ushered in the new year, Myco Chris released his latest video entitled "No Way". The song has a beautiful Afro beat sound with a simple message of looking up to God for answers in time of need.
The chorus of the song has words like; “With no way to go
Get down on your knees
God will set you free
With no way to go
Believe in God indeed
His grace will see you through".
The song was recorded in London UK where the singer is based and the video was directed by a young budding video director, Keith Enock.
In week one, the song has already climbed on top of countdown charts on various stations in the country.
