The newly appointed Tourism Ambassador of Uganda and Miss World Africa 2018 Quiin Abenakyo is set to kick off her tourism tour of Uganda.
The tour dubbed 'Tulambule With Quiin Abenakyo,’ will be starting next week. The 23-year-old will visit the Eastern region where she will be covering Karamoja-Kidepo National Park, Mbale, Jinja, Murchison National Park, among others in a bid to promote Uganda’s tourism.
Sources say Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda, Minister of Tourism handpicked Quiin for the role because Uganda needs to take advantage of her position and brand as Miss World Africa 2018 in promoting the country’s tourism industry both locally and internationally.
The beauty queen will be touring with a crew of prominent figures including media personality
Dave Jk Kazoora who'll be doing the entire production, Minister Godfrey Kiwanda among others.
Abenakyo, who seems to be over joyed with the appointment revealed that she is super proud and honored to work with the ministry to make sure Uganda’s story as the Pearl of Africa gets to be known.
