During an interview, musician Catherine Kusasira openly asked the President to compensate her and other event organisers for the losses they have incured as a result of his directive to stop all public gatherings.
In an attempt to curb the spread of Covid-19 Coronavirus, all the concerts were banned in the country.
Kusasira's request backfired, she received all kinds of insults on social media. She was forced to apologise in order to calm down the situation.
Music promoter Abbey Musinguzi alias Abtex branded her a robber who wants to take everything from her own country. Abtex further described Kusasira as a senseless citizen who doesn’t deserve citizenship.
It should be noted that Catherine Kusasira claimed that she had organised a show at Calendar Hotel in Makindye during the Easter but Abtex said she wanted to dupe NRM.
