Singer Mary Bata has disclosed that she has signed fellow singer Kemi Sera to her music group, MBM (Mary Bata Music).
Bata relayed the news through a television interview saying that she has much hope in Kemi who had veered off the right path due to drugs.
Mary Bata says she has picked up Sera to give her another chance to grow her career.
A few months ago, Kemi Sera went through a depression that saw her come out publicly to reveal that her former manager and boss, Hajji Haruna Mubiru in Kream Production caused her bad situation.
She accused him of being a violent man who exercised domestic violence on her and failed to take care of his responsibilities.
Hajj Haruna however denied all the allegations saying he respects women and can never beat them.
After that, Kemi nearly became crazy. It was hard for her to cope with the breakup hence resorting to drug abuse to forget her sorrows.
