Singer Maurice Kirya has excited Kampala girls after announcing that he is single again following a breakup with Dutch wife, Lisa Gceverbeek.
The couple moved to the Netherlands two years ago, and they share a daughter.
“It’s already been over a year since we mutually separated. We’ve learned how to co-parent and are doing a great job at it. Our friendship will always remain, as will the undeniable bond we have as the parents to our dear daughter,” he tweeted.
Many Kampala girls were disappointed when he found love, but he has reignited their hope once again.
Former radio & TV presenter, said “We are glad you are single again. Welcome back to the streets. Where do we drop our applications, sir?”
Glamour girl, Chantal Uwimbabazi also expressed her interest, “Good afternoon Maurice. I am sorry to hear this. Life happens, but at least the co-parenting is going well. Wishing your family all the best. Meanwhile, If your baby girl ever needs a stepmother or step-sibling, my inbox is open. And you ever get lonely, still, my inbox is open. Single life can be hard.”
