News has been doing the rounds that Nubian Li is on the verge of being kicked out of his home located in Kulambiro- Kisaasi, Kyanja a Kampala suburb.
A lady identified as Kayondo Rose is accusing Nubian Li of conniving with her husband, Kayondo Moses to take her land.
Nubian Li dubiously acquired the property in 2018.
“My husband sold the house or home to Nubian Li without my consent. They forged my signature,” she said.
Nubian’s wife Mutoni Shiko says she is not aware of Rose Kayondo’s claims as they are only peddled in gossip columns.
“Those rumors were there many years ago, and they died away. I’m sure this baseless talk will come to end,” she said.
It should be noted that Rose dragged Nubian Li to court in 2011 where they battled until 2018. The court ruled that Nubian Li acquired the property illegally, ordering him to vacate the house and pay Rose Shs 26M compensation.
But Nubian ignored court orders and declined to leave the house which he has since demolished and constructed a multimillion flat.
Rose is now demanding Shs.400 million for the house and land minus the costs she incurred during all the court proceedings.
