Socialite Charles Olimu and his girlfriend, Shimarah Nakiyimba alias Sasha Shamirah will soon know their fate regarding their fraud-related case.
The two were told by Makindye Court Grade One Magistrate Esther Adikini that they will be tried in the High court.
“Since investigations are complete, you are hereby sent to the High Court to stand trial,” the magistrate directed.
Sipapa was allegedly arrested on a case of robbing 1.6bn from a South Sudanese national. The socialite has been at Luzira Maximum Prison for over four months.
The case of aggravated robbery attracts a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
