Former wife of the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, Hajjati Kulthum Nabunya, recently addressed speculation about her current husband, Acram Gumisiriza, appetite for other women in an interview.
She confidently responded to critics who suggested that Gumisiriza had taken another wife and might leave her soon. Nabunya stated that her husband, being a devout Muslim, has the right to practice polygamy, as it is allowed within the tenets of Islam.
According to Nabunya, Gumisiriza has the liberty to marry up to three additional women as per Islamic law. She emphasized that if he were to take on more wives, it would be a personal matter between him and her, rather than a concern for the public.
Nabunya's statements were made in response to a viral video in which socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa, also known as Bad Black, speculated that Gumisiriza could be involved with other women besides Nabunya.
The couple got married in 2022, one year after the passing of Sheikh Muzaata.
