Following allegations that talented upcoming singers, Ezekiel and Esther Mutesasira, are gay, the two teenagers have come out and refuted the rumors.
In a live video, Esther and Ezekiel explained that they are straight and have no intentions of joining the gay community.
The two singers appealed to Ugandans not to associate their mother's choices with them because they have their own beliefs.
"We are not gay, as some Ugandans allege. Please understand that Ezekiel and I are straight," Esther said, adding that they are tired of being castigated for their mom's choice.
"We never came out and revealed that we are gay. It's our mom who took that route, and we respect her choices, but we have chosen to stay straight," Ezekiel revealed.
The two teenagers live with their mom, Julie Mutesasira, who publicly revealed she is a lesbian in order to secure Canadian citizenship.
