After months away in the Netherlands receiving medical treatment, Ugandan politician Muhammad Segirinya has returned home. But his arrival wasn't without drama. At the airport, he reportedly had a tense confrontation with Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, the deputy spokesperson for the National Unity Platform (NUP).

Segirinya, who has been battling stomach problems, is clearly upset with Mufumbiro. He claims Mufumbiro has been spreading hurtful rumors about his illness, even suggesting Segirinya was somehow responsible for it and actively discouraging people from helping him financially.

The situation has become so strained that Segirinya has publicly declared he doesn't want Mufumbiro anywhere near his funeral.

"I don't want Waiswa Mufumbiro to be present at my funeral," Segirinya stated. "While I believe I will go first, I do not want him attending my burial. He even accused me of being responsible for my illness and obstructed those who wanted to provide me with financial assistance."

It's clear Segirinya feels deeply betrayed by Mufumbiro's alleged actions, adding another layer of difficulty to his already challenging health situation.
