Up-and-coming musician Rickman has claimed that American rapper and mogul Jay-Z would appreciate his work.
In an interview with a local radio station, Rickman asserted that he creates complete art, and if given the chance, Jay-Z would be impressed.
Rickman believes that Ugandan musicians lack the necessary link to international artists, but with a bridge between the two industries, they could achieve much more.
"If I had a chance to meet Jay-Z and show him my work, he would be interested because my work is art. All we are lacking as artistes is a bridge to these people," he said.
Rickman has been actively involved in music for over seven years but has struggled to make a major breakthrough.
