For weeks now, filmmaker and director John Segawa has been attacking NUP President Bobi Wine and the entire political party.
Over the weekend, Segawa claimed he made Bobi Wine and has to put him in order whenever he sees him going off track.
"I have personally contributed to the development of NUP and Bobi Wine as a person. I have stakes in NUP because it's a two-way thing and, being a Muganda, I have a lot of interest in it because it's led by a Muganda who is a Catholic just like me," he said.
New details indicate that John Segawa is bitter because Bobi Wine no longer picks his calls or responds to his messages.
The two developed misunderstandings earlier this year, and the NUP President chose to ignore him as he has done before with the likes of Eddy Kenzo and Salvador.
"Bobi Wine was briefed that Segawa has connections with the ruling government and that all he does is more like spying on him. He has since declined to pick his calls, sparking the wide attacks from John Segawa," a source told this website.
Other reports indicate that John Segawa's disagreement with Bobi Wine started when the NUP President publicly called out Mathias Mpunga over corruption, leading to his subsequent suspension from the leadership of NUP.
Mathias Mpunga is a good friend of John Segawa, which did not sit well with him.
