Rickman and Sheila Gashumba dated for over two years. During their time of dating, Rickman received much criticism from Sheila's father, Frank Gashumba.
However, all that didn't stop them from continuing with their relationship until May this year, when Gashumba released a press statement revealing the end of their romantic affair.
Rickman has revealed he was not surprised by the release by Gashumba, as many netizens were, because that's how celebrity life operates.
"Sheila is a celebrity; that is how celebrities operate. As a media personality, it’s what she needed to do. Her life is not separated much from social media, so it shouldn’t have surprised you much," he said in an interview with a YouTuber.
Rickman also said he is grateful to Sheila Gashumba for building much of his social capital and his brand.
He has no regrets whatsoever and is busy focusing on his music career and other businesses.
"I am a man who has been through all conditions of life. I have been through the ghetto, the middle class, and the high end, so nothing can shake me. I don’t regret being in the relationship. There is a lot I learned from it. I added quite a lot to my brand and gained social capital. Whoever you meet on your journey should add something to your life," Rickman adds.
