For a week now, reports have circulated indicating a romantic relationship between Geoffrey Lutaaya and Faridah Nakazibwe.
Other allegations even suggested that Lutaaya is the father of Nakazibwe's newborn child.
Lutaaya has come forward to set the record straight, revealing that he is not in a romantic relationship with Nakazibwe, and the two have never been in love.
The singer clarified the situation over the weekend, addressing the rumors as false and baseless, aimed at tarnishing both his and Faridah Nakazibwe’s reputations.
The singer revealed that the rumors started as a joke but later escalated into a debatable matter, leading numerous concerned individuals to contact him for clarification.
"To all social media users, we ask you to use social media responsibly. We enjoy what you post, but sometimes it has a negative impact. This must stop because some people have been spreading rumors that I am in love with Faridah Nakazibwe, which is not true. Nakazibwe is a brand, I am a brand, and Irene is a brand. We need respect, and this must stop before I take further action," Lutaaya partly said in a video circulating on social media.
