Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, the husband of singer Rema Namakula, has explained why he always accompanies his wife to events around the city.
Ssebunya and Rema have attended nearly all events where the singer has performed, drawing some criticism from social media users.
However, Hamza clarified that he accompanies her to support her, as he understands the nature of her career.
"I'm used to the type of job she does, and she needs my support as her husband. I need to support her where necessary," he revealed in an interview with Spark Television.
Hamza made these comments following Rema's performance at Awilo Logomba's concert at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
