Musician Cinderella Sanyu, aka Cindy, has, over time, credited herself for mentoring Sheebah Karungi.
The former TNS singer, however, has denied being mentored by Cindy, not even for a single day.
Sheebah explained that Cindy only wrote a song for her, and she was paid for doing the work. She didn't give her any advice or knowledge as per the claims.
"No, no... she didn't mentor me. I looked for her because I was a fan of her music, and I didn't have any problem with her until she showed me bad energy," Sheebah said in part during an interview with a local YouTuber.
Sheebah maintains that it was she who looked for Cindy and paid her for writing the song, even though it didn't bring much success to her career-wise.
It should be noted that Sheebah will be staging her annual concert on the 4th of October this year at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
