Musician Moses Ssali, aka Bebe Cool, believes Bobi Wine's wealth is primarily funded by Europeans.
In an interview with Jenkins Mukasa and Sendie, Bebe Cool explained that Bobi Wine, like Besigye, has mastered the art of getting millions of shillings from Europeans by claiming to fight for people's rights.
"Bobi Wine filled the gap that Besigye left. He knew Europeans had money, and with Besigye retiring, he positioned himself to benefit from it. His wealth is largely financed by Europeans," he said in part.
Bebe Cool, however, says he personally cannot accept money from foreigners, which is why he made peace with the government, allowing his businesses to thrive in the country.
"I chose to work with the government so I can collaborate with well-positioned people, including ministers, for my businesses to thrive and earn money," he added.
