Musician Shakira Shakira has been making headlines mainly because of her lifestyle and addiction to skimpy attire.
Recently, she made news not for her music, but after being gifted a brand-new car by her boyfriend.
Shakira now says her boyfriend has been pressuring her to make things official, but she has her own fears and has kept him waiting.
"I am still the one holding back on this marriage thing, but he keeps talking about it all the time. My man keeps pestering me to settle down, but I keep putting him on hold and asking him to wait," she said in part during an interview with a local television station.
Shakira explained that she fears her boyfriend will stop her from wearing her skimpy outfits if she gets married.
She believes he will take full control of her, forcing her to change her lifestyle—something she is not ready to do at the moment.
"I hear marriage is not easy. I don’t think I’ll still be able to do the things I’m doing now or dress the way I dress if I get married. Men usually get jealous once they marry you, and he will keep questioning me if I’m going out dressed like this. He should wait,” she explained.
Shakira Shakira believes marriage will come after she achieves a successful music career.
