Earlier this week, musician Alien Skin confirmed his conversion to Islam, declaring it his new spiritual home.
His longtime friend and fellow musician Haruna Mubiru welcomed him to the Islamic faith but also cautioned him about its expectations.
"I welcome him home, but I also urge him to give up certain things to fully embrace the Islamic faith. He should stay away from alcohol and drugs as they are prohibited in Islam. Islam is a profound and cautious way of life, and he needs to be careful," Haruna Mubiru advised.
He also encouraged Alien Skin to inspire others to join the Islamic faith, spreading the positive values of the Muslim community.
