Musician Rickman recently participated in a boxing match with fellow singer Grenade, which ended in favor of the Ebango hitmaker.
Many believed the fight would restore peace between the two. However, Rickman has stated otherwise, explaining that he is still not friends with Grenade.
According to the singer, the fight was purely a money-making venture and did not signify any reconciliation. Their relationship remains strained, and Rickman does not foresee any improvement in the near future.
"Even after the fight, I am still not friends with Grenade. I only participated in the fight to make money. I am not his friend, and there is nothing that brings us close," he explained during an interview with a local television station.
The animosity between Rickman and Grenade dates back to a bar brawl in 2023. During the altercation, Grenade allegedly assaulted Rickman at a city hangout after a disagreement involving Sheila Gashumba, who Rickman was dating at the time.
Despite Grenade, known for his hit Nkuloga, offering an apology, Rickman has been unwilling to reconcile.
