In January 2023, Minister Haruna Kasolo visited Aisha's parents in Mukono for a traditional ceremony known as Okwanjula and later held a wedding (Nikkah) in accordance with the Muslim faith.
Speaking about her relationship with Minister Kasolo, Aisha Kasolo explained that their religion allows men to marry multiple women legally, and all wives are expected to work together for the family's well-being.
"In the Muslim religion, a man can marry multiple women if the marriages are official. The wives even live and relate harmoniously because Islam permits it as long as it is done legally. I can't restrict him," she explained.
However, Aisha maintained that she does not recognize musician Princess Amirah as one of Minister Kasolo's wives, claiming that the two are not legally married.
"I don't know Princess Amirah. I know all his wives, and they are registered in the marriage registry. I have never seen her as my co-wife because I doubt they are married," Aisha stated.
In response, Princess Amirah dismissed Aisha Kasolo's comments, asserting that she receives all the love and attention from Minister Kasolo.
"Kasolo visited my parents and even held a wedding. I consider myself his first wife because he gives me everything I need. I don't care about the co-wives and don't know anything about them," Amirah said.
Amirah also claimed she does not know anyone by the name Aisha Kasolo.
"I don't know anyone called Aisha Kasolo. She must be married to someone else, not my husband," she added.
Aisha Kasolo and Princess Amirah have reportedly been at odds for years, trading insults over Finance Minister Haruna Kasolo.
