Musician Grenade has called on musicians to change their ways and improve their personal hygiene.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Grenade explained that most Ugandan musicians have poor hygiene in public. They carry bad odor.
He says many of them go days without showering, others don't wash their clothes, and many don't treat their dreadlocks, causing discomfort to others.
He warned that they will continue losing gigs from tycoons if they don't improve their personal lifestyle and change their mindset on various things.
"Musicians should change their ways because we portray a wrong picture to different people. Most of the artists have poor hygiene and bad odor, causing discomfort to others. That's why most tycoons don't invite us to their parties. We have poor hygiene, and this should be taken seriously," he explained.
Grenade believes personal hygiene is fundamental and should never be ignored for health reasons.
