Musician Grace Khan is once again in the news, not for her music, but for her lifestyle.
The singer appeared on stage at Geoffrey Lutaaya's concert and was seen staggering, at one point falling down. She appeared intoxicated, leading many to believe she struggles with alcohol.
The singer has since addressed the video, saying she was simply extremely happy about the concert's success and was not under the influence of alcohol.
"Geoffrey Lutaaya is like a father to me; I am like his daughter, and we are very close," she explained in an interview with a local television station. "I jumped on stage to express my happiness for the concert's success, and I wasn't influenced by alcohol, as naysayers suggest."
However, many continue to call on the Uganda National Musicians Federation to intervene and help Grace Khan. They believe she should seek mental health support for her own well-being.
