Singer Alien Skin, whose real name is Mulwana Patrick, has explained his reasons for making a dramatic entrance on a cross at his recent concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The unconventional entrance has sparked confusion and discussion among attendees and the public.

Despite the initial enthusiasm surrounding his career, the concert itself reportedly did not meet expectations in terms of attendance. Alien Skin had previously achieved success, notably filling Freedom City, but this time, at the much larger Lugogo Cricket Oval, the turnout was lower than anticipated.

While those present witnessed a spectacle with his grand entrance on a cross, many were left puzzled. Adding to the controversy, the singer was seen smoking marijuana during this entrance, a gesture that clashes with Christian values and symbolism of his chosen imagery.

According to Alien Skin, his decision to appear on the cross was symbolic. He stated that he feels he is burdened with the responsibility for the music industry, drawing a parallel to Jesus Christ carrying the weight of humanity's sins.

He explained his entrance with a quote: “Lo, I bear the weight of this industry upon my shoulders, as a servant appointed to carry forth its purpose.”
