In January of this year, Alpha Ssali left Express Football Club after almost two years and joined NEC FC.

The son of musician Bebe Cool has today signed with NEC FC after quitting Express Football Club.

Bebe Cool, along with his fans and a section of Ugandans, had high hopes for Alpha Saali and expected him to feature in most of the club's games.

The singer explained he continues to invest heavily in Alpha Ssali because he sees it as a business venture, not because Ssali is his son.

Speaking about Alpha, Bebe Cool revealed he will do anything possible to see that his son plays football in Europe.

The scholarship will see Alpha Thiery train and play with Crystal Palace's youth team. If he is successful, he could be offered a professional contract with the club.

The singer says his son Alpha Thiery Saali will go as far as achieving his football dreams.

According to Bebe Cool, Alpha will play professional football in Europe one day.

He missed out during the qualifier games and he now has a big chance to showcase his talent in the Afcon finals.
