The legislator, who is currently receiving treatment in Nairobi, has been advised by medical doctors to undergo surgery for her health.

Over a month ago, while appearing on the uncut program, Zahara Totto used demeaning remarks while defining actress Shamim Mayanja.

Hon Shamim Malende the Kampala Woman Member of Parliament is out of the Intensive Care Unit-ICU at the Agha Khan Hospital where she was rushed Tuesday evening hours after undergoing abdominal surgery. 

Malende was flown out to the Nairobi hospital on Saturday last week after her condition deteriorated at the Uganda Martyrs Hospital in Lubaga Division, Kampala where she was first admitted on November 13, 2022.
