According to kubutaka, the 'Gravity' rapper assaulted a Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) employee under Star TV only identified as Ivan at the premises of the government owned TV station.
“Trouble for Gravity started when he had gone to UBC to seal a deal for 'Kitimbule'; a new promotion. It was while there that he met Ivan who doubles as a music promoter. It is said that Ivan once hired Gravity to perform at one of his show, paid him but the singer never showed up and has never given an explanation or refunded the money. An eye witness intimates that when Ivan confronted Gravity who has been playing hide and seek over the issue, the singer instead of explaining himself, he just slapped Ivan in the face.”
Gravity was the roughed up by UBC security and beaten to almost pulp as his pals ran for their lives leaving him alone.
"Gravity was only let go after pleading for mercy," reveals the source.
The next day Ivan filed a case of assault against the singer at Central Police Station (CPS) and Gravity was arrested from his pad in Makindye and thrown in jail where he spent a night. He was bailed out by Bobi Wine who paid Shs500,000.
