There was an African flavour to Standard Liège's big win in the Belgian top flight.
Miya officially opened his goal scoring account at Belgian club, Standard Liege infront of the club faithfuls at the Maurice Dufrasne stadium.
Miya is a former Vipers SC attacking midfielder and it was also his maiden starting lineup appearance for the Rouches since leaving the continent in a reported $400,000 move this February. The Uganda Cranes international came off after an hour and was replaced by Cameroonian Enoh Eyong.
Liege are top of the league after four matches with 7 points, two behind Kortrijk who have a game in hand.
