The Deputy President of the National Unity Platform in the Central region of Uganda, Muwanga Kivumbi, has outlined a list of MPs who risk losing their positions unless they apologize to Bobi Wine.
An animated Muwanga Kivumbi mentioned different Members of Parliament, including Mathias Mpunga, Kazibwe Bashir, Joyce Bagala, Juliet Kakande, Jimmy Lwanga, among others.
He issued a one-month ultimatum for them to apologize to Bobi Wine for their actions against him and the party.
Muwanga Kivumbi explained that whoever fails to apologize will not be given the party ticket in the coming elections, and they will fight hard to see them lose their constituency to the NUP candidate.
"You have been given a one-month ultimatum to apologize for your wrongdoings, and if you fail, it will be over for you. As the National Unity Platform, we shall fight to see you lose the constituency. We shall use all our means and energy to see you are out of that constituency for the NUP candidate," he explained while addressing a section of NUP members from the Buganda region.
Muwanga Kivumbi and Chairman Nyanzi Sentamu maintained that NUP is targeting one hundred parliamentary positions in the twelfth parliament from the Buganda region.
