Despite what you may or may not believe about the Swiddleston theories circulating the internet and Kim Kardashian West’s view on Taylor Swift’s approval (or not) of those now infamous Famous lyrics, UK publication The Sun (the paper who originally published the Swiddleston images) have added more fuel to the fire.

In a new article the publication is claiming the alleged recording of Swift giving Kanye West her blessing over the Famous lyrics Kardashian West insists is real, is in fact real.

Writer Dan Wootton claims to have seen a letter from Swift’s lawyers in which they request West to destroy the recording of the phone conversation.

In case you missed it, in her latest interview with GQ US Kardashian West told the publication Swift was playing the victim and her husband has followed the correct protocol, calling Swift for her approval regarding the lyrics.

“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved,” said Kardashian West.

Swifts team hit back shortly after with the below response, denying the conversation took place:

“Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect. Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do.”

Of course, whether or not the recording is real the theorists on the internet seem to believe those Swiddleston pictures are a ruse to distract us from Kardashian West’s comment.
