According to reliable sources, Denis Onyango sustained an injury in a friendly loss against Ivory Coast loss and unfortunately it worsened yesterday during training.
The Mamelodi Sundowns shot-stopper suffered a groin injury to his left upper thigh in the 38th minute.
Onyango was replaced at half-time of their 3-0 loss to the African champions on Wedenesday and in now a doubt for their 2017 AFCON opener against Ghana on January 17 at Stade de Port Gentil and perhaps the rest of the tournament.
