Nigerian superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun commonly known by his stage name Wizkid disappointed Ugandans last year when he failed to turn up for his show that was organized by Star Times on 3rd December last year.
The ‘Ojubeilega’ star claims that he was held up in Los Angles where he had gone to shoot a video with American rapper, Drake.
Other sources say he was not fully paid his balance of 20k dollars on the agreed 60k dollars before coming to Uganda.
However, the good news is that Wizkid will come to Uganda on December 7th at Lugogo Cricket Oval. He tweeted; “December 7th!! Uganda”.
The festive season will be packed with action; on 1st December Jamaica’s Tarrus Riley will be at Cricket Oval, Lugogo, and Timaya is expected to be in the country though the date has not yet been confirmed.
