Former Bukedde TV presenter Fyona Kirabo is down battling with a strange illness that has threatened her sight. Fyona Kirabo has been bedridden for a number of days because of an illness that has been identified as conjuctivitis.
"Despite the improving condition, the illness is still threatening her eye sight", a close source has told Howwe.
Kirabo also took to one of her social media platforms to thank her fans for praying for her.
"Thank you for all your prayers. I am getting much better. #Conjuctivitis is real. Anyway the redness is going down. The swelling of the eyes and face as well. Eyes can open a bit wider than earlier on. Basically nothing lasts forever. Thank you God. Conjuctivitis must go," Fyona Kirabo captioned the photos she posted showing her infected eyes.
According to doctors, conjuctivitis is an inflammation of the outermost layer of the white part of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelid. It is contacted through getting in contact with an infected person. It is spread by both a bacteria and virus and can be prevented by hand washing.
