Controversial blogger Isma Olaxess who has been on the run and hiding was arrested on Monday over crimes related to defamation, and malice.
He is accused by musician Omulangira Ssuna commonly as OS of spewing falsehoods about him.
Upon his arrest, Isma Olaxess expressed remorse and said he was never going to repeat bad-mouthing people on TV.
He urged bloggers to start doing constructive blogging and to respect the law.
“I am going to meet OS and we iron things out. I respect the decision court has taken to remand me to prison, but I am hopeful I will come out and start on a new chapter,” he said.
Isma and three television presenters working for Next Media Services; Isaac Kawalya Ssemulondo alias Kays, Bryan Kennedy Waako, and Williams Makuliro are accused of repeatedly attacking OS on television.
