Jose Chameleone started his music career in the early 1990s and since then, he has been a force in the Ugandan music industry. He gained popularity because of his talent across the entire African continent.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in some of the most controversial scandals including beating up Bukedde TV journalist, Josephat Sseguya. The two sorted their differences and they are now on good terms.
Talking about media and musician relationships, Chameleone noted the two camps need each other.
He went on to plead with Omulangira Ssuna to drop the charges against NBS journalists who were sent to Kitalya prison until 15th October.
The Leone Island boss advised Ssuna to avoid beef with the media because it can bring him to his knees once they retaliate.
“I advise my brother Ssuna to respect the media. He can’t handle the beef. It will bring him to his knees once they retaliate,” he said during an interview.
Chameleone went ahead to confess that he had beef with the media but it turned ugly.
NBS Journalists, Kayz, Macko, and Waako were sent to Kitalya prison over charges related to offensive communication.
