Controversial tycoon Emmanuel Lwasa is unhappy with the residents of Masaka. He believes they pushed him into poverty by stifling his businesses.
Lwasa explained that he went to Masaka with lots of cash to invest but only faced losses, leading to the collapse of his ventures.
"I don't want to talk about Masaka people because of what happened. I went there with lots of cash for investment but only incurred losses. I never made any money in Masaka, which is why I decided to come back to Kampala and focus," he mentioned in an interview with a local television station.
Lwasa is famously known for his relationships with city socialites and his influence in the bar business in Masaka and Kampala.
